3/13/09 Happy was neutered today and our vet believes that he is an excellent candidate for hip surgery- he thinks it will be very effective and cause Happy to use his leg and not have pain.... we are so excited about this. The downside is that the surgery is $600 so we are rasing money to help with Happy's surgery.
Happy is doing very well at his foster home- he is starting to approach his foster mom to be petted, romps in the yard wit hthe other dogs, and allows his foster mom to cuddle him in her arms He is still very shy and we are continuing to work with him, but every day he is a little more trusting. It is a joy to watch...

Happy is a special needs dog. He is 4 y.o. and does walk with limping. After visiting the vets, and 2 x rays, it was determined that he was born with deformed hips, and he adjusted well by walking on 3 legs. He does use the 4th leg to stretch and he hops around to play with the younger dogs here He is a special needs poodle that came from a puppy mill.

Happy has never had a loving touch or care. He is so thankful and coming around well. He is so happy now and learning to be loved and will make a great pet and so appreciative.

Happy is looking for a good loving home. He so deserves it after all the pain and suffering in the puppy mill.

Happy is doing well in his foster home and would love to have a home of his own where he can receive all the love and attention he deserves. He needs an understnding and patient home to help him get over his fear of people and learn they don't want to hurt him.
He is fully vetted and his adoption fee is $150.00.
