Here is what Copper's foster mom has to say about him : "Copper is the sweetest little 3 year old red-head you'll ever meet. Just ask him! This bundle of joy comes in at a mere 39#'s, and I'm pretty sure that 30 of that is heart. A concerned relative of Copper's previous owner knew this little guy deserved a better life, and I agree! He went from being a dumpster pup to being tied out in the freezing cold with little to no food or water. Needless to say, he is lovin' life now!! He loves everyone he meets (even the vet!!), and they love him too. If you can get him to stop wiggling, he LOVES to have his belly rubbed...or anything else for that matter. Copper has bursts of energy and very little training, but he is already starting to learn simple commands like "sit" and "down". We've only had him for a very short time, so I'm sure it won't be long before he's fetching the paper and washing the dishes =) Oh yea-- one more thing- I'm sure he'd like for you to know that he LOVES to go for walks!!"

Copper is good with other dogs, and usually ignores the cats and bunny in his foster home. A fenced in yard is preferred, but not required for his adoption!

Copper is currently 39lbs, and our vet guesstimates that a healthy weight for him would be closer to 55lbs. He is eating well in his foster home, and it shouldn't be long before he hits his ideal body weight!

Copper is neutered, mircohipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm negative and on monthly flea/heartworm prevention.
