Chewy (short for "Chewbacca!") is an adorable little boy who sadly started off his life as a stray. Things must have been really rough for him at some point, because his front left leg has a healed fracture in it, which was most likely caused from getting hit by a car. Thankfully, he was rescued from the streets and taken to a local APL, where we were able to step in and help him find the loving home he truly deserves!

Chewy is a carefree, happy baby who loves everyone and everything! He loves to spend time cuddling and playing with his people, and gives the best puppy kisses!! His foster mom says, "He's great! The cutest thing ever! And so affectionate. He just wants to be loved and will curl up in our laps. He will follow us all around the house, and then curl up at our feet. He just wants to be near his people! He's fully housetrained and cratetrained, and he sits when we come inside so we can wipe his paws. He loves to play with toys and chewing on his bones!"

He has a wonderful, sunny disposition and greets every new person and situation with a wagging tail and a big smile on his face!! He's a goofy, happy boy who is a ton of fun to be around! Everyone who meets him just adores him.  =)  

Chewy loves to play with other dogs, is friendly with cats and adores children of all ages, so he would make an excellent addition to any home!

Chewy is a smart boy who loves to please his people! He is doing very well with his basic commands, and already knows "sit" and "down," and is currently working on "paw."

Chewy is approx. 6 months old, neutered, microchipped, fully up to date on his vaccinations, dewormed and on monthly flea and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $150.
