COMET IS A COURTESY POSTING, AND IS NOT WITH A NEW LEASH ON LIFE RESCUE. PLEASE CONTACT HIS OWNER FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION!
Comet is a delightful and loveable pug that is 8 years old. He was diagnosed with diabetes 2 years ago and is blind due to the cataracts diabetes can sometimes cause. He really doesn’t let this keep him down though – he gets around really well once he knows the lay of the land! If a new owner could afford the expense, it’s possible that Comet could regain his eyesight by having the cataracts surgically removed. He is neutered and house trained although the diabetes does make him very thirsty so he has to go out a little more often. He’s very sweet and loves to cuddle up on your lap – he’s a little baby at heart! He grew up with another pug so he’s good with other dogs and is great with kids – I have a 2 year old son that loves to pet his soft, velvety ears. Comet has always been very patient with him!
For additional information about Comet, please contact his owner, Crystal, at cgriffith@atus.com. Thanks! =)
