Meet Simba!  He is an adorable puppy who was surrendered by an older teen when she decided she didn’t have the time or resources to raise a puppy.  He is currently living with his foster family which includes four older dogs and a cat. 

Simba has a lot of energy and loves to run around the fenced back yard, chase his ball and play with the younger kids in the neighborhood. Loves chasing the cat around too!   He gets along well with the other dogs but because they are older he wants to play more than they do.  He is very cuddly and lovable!

Simba is doing very well with his potty training.  He is being crate trained and makes it 8-10 hours at night without crying or accidents.  He has quickly mastered how to sit for treats!  So far he does not appear to be a “chewer” but has lots of toys and chews to keep him busy.  Because he lost his mother and littermates at around 4 weeks, Simba does have a tendency to “puppy bite” your hands, feet, and pants when he gets overly excited, so we are working on that! 

Simba is happiest when he is around people and loves to romp and play so someone who has lots of time to spend with him and a fenced in yard is preferred for his forever home! 

Simba received a clean bill of health.   He has been wormed, received his first set of puppy shots, and has started his flea/heartworm prevention medicine.
