Axel is a handsome Boxer / American Pit Bull Terrier mix that was rescued from "death row" from a local kennel where he was brought in as a stray.  

Axel is a super sweet, cuddly boy with a contagious smile! He's fun and energetic, but can also just hang out and relax with his humans. Axel would love a home with a fenced in yard as he really enjoys playing outside! (Fetch is one of his favorites!)

Axel is absolutely wonderful with children and is currently being fostered in a home with a toddler! He's friendly and playful with other dogs but thinks kitties are toys, so he needs a forever home that is cat-free!

Axel knows basic commands like sit, stay, and lay down, but needs some training walking on a leash. He is also working on learning that not everything on the floor is his to play with! He doesn't jump on furniture and is crate trained and house-trained. He loves car rides and is always excited to hop in the car to go on his next adventure!

Axel is approx. 2 years old, currently 50lbs. and is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative and on monthly flea/heartworm prevention.

His adoption fee is $175.
