Venus was rescued from a city shelter where her time was up. This little lady is so sweet and gentle, we are so very happy to have been able to rescue her and help her find a better life with a forever family!

Here's what Venus' foster mom has to say about her: "Venus is a great dog and she is going to make some family very happy! She is full of love and just wants to be loved back. She needs the feeling of security. She is by my side constantly when I'm at home and she loves to cuddle! She is house trained, knows basic commands such as drop, come, no, sit and we are working on stay right now. She loves other dogs and people, is great with kids but can initially be hesitant around men. She does chase the cats on occasion but she just wants to play! (She's currently being fostered in a home with 2 cats and is wonderful with them!) Her favorite thing to do is roll on her back in the grass and wiggle! It's super cute! Overall she is a wonderful, happy dog!"

Venus is approx. 1.5 years old and is currently 48lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm negative and on monthly flea/heartworm preventative.

Her adoption fee is $175.
