Rocco

I just wanted to let you know that Rocco is fine. He's such a sweet dog! He was kind of slow on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from the surgery. He didn't eat or drink much, and I started to worry a little bit. We gave him tthe last pain pill on Monday night, and he seemed to get better after that. He's doing his business out in the yard now, and he's eating okay. I brush him every day, and get tons of hair out of him but he seems to like it. If he was a cat, he'd be purring. He's sleeping in his doggie bed right now, snoring to beat the band. I have a big crate for him, and he seems to like being in it. He doesn't seem to be afraid of anything or anyone, and he seems contented. He gets groomed on Friday, and after that I'll have my vet check him out. He seems to be just fine. I'm not sure he knows he's arrived at the Doggie Castle, but he has. He's a sweetie! Thanks for fostering him, Sandy

Truman

I just wanted to let you know that Truman is doing great! He loves being with us and his new home! He has really opened up to us. At first, he was a little shy but now he has taken control of the house. He is so loveable and loves to be with us, he follows me around everywhere I go (its so cute!). He is having a great time running around and playing with his toys. I have even taught him how to fetch. He is sleeping in our bed too! Thank you so much! We love him! And thank you again for watching him while we were on our honeymoon! Thanks again! Kristy

Smidge

Hi Heather. Smidge is doing great. (She has a new name…. “Mini”…Rosey [you met her when we came to pick Smidge up] named her J …she said she is a “Mini-Me”! because she looks like Rosey) We all love her already. She is warming up to all of us. She stays in the gated area with the other dogs all day and is just fine. I am still having her sleep in her cage, until she insists on getting in bed with us J. But I have her right by my bed. She goes to bed really well. We do not hear a peep from her all night. She has come to the right place!
